Community Guidelines

CircleUp is designed for respectful local connection. Pilot members are expected to follow these principles.

Be truthful

Describe your skills, experience and goals honestly. Do not claim qualifications you do not hold.

Protect privacy

Do not publish another person’s address, contact information, images, health information or private story without permission. Do not pressure people to share diagnoses or traumatic experiences.

Keep exchanges appropriate

No dangerous tasks, weapons, sexual services, controlled substances, harassment, discriminatory conduct, financial schemes or attempts to evade legal requirements.

Peer wellbeing boundaries

Listen without diagnosing, prescribing treatment or presenting personal experience as professional advice. Do not promise secrecy where someone may be in immediate danger. Peer circles are not therapy, clinical care or crisis response.

Use qualified services when required

Time exchange and peer support do not replace licensed trades, healthcare, legal advice, financial advice, child safety checks or other regulated services.

Meet carefully

Use organisation-approved locations and processes. Do not pressure anyone to meet privately or disclose sensitive information.

Report concerns

Members can use the private reporting form for non-emergency conduct, privacy or safety concerns. If there is immediate danger, call 000. Lifeline provides 24/7 crisis support on 13 11 14.
